Welcome! Thank you for visiting. This Page is first and foremost dedicated to my wife - Rhonda Lenard (more below). It is also a tribute to one of the Premier bands over 3 decades (70's, 80's, & 90's) - Aerosmith, one of the most prolific Songwriters of current times (80's, 90's) - Diane Warren, and lastly to a Movie that can be easily argued to be one of the Top 10 Movies of the 90's - Armageddon. |

| Background: While I was dating my wife we saw the Movie Armageddon, it became an important part of our lives when I took the Premier song "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" (written by Diane Warren and performed by Aerosmith) and adapted/customized it even more to our situation. Rhonda lived in Grand Rapids Michigan (West side of the state) and I lived in Wyandotte Michigan (near Detroit, and of the East side of the state), 160 miles apart, so we put many miles on our cars and had high Long distance phone bills until we became engaged and she moved to Wyandotte. While she was still in Grand Rapids I wrote additional lyrics to the song and sang the song for her with the new enhanced lyrics. Let's just say I could see the positive emotional reaction streaming from her eyes and down her face. I had also put together the 8x11 sheet that is shown above which we both keep a framed copy of. |
