some of the things we saw and did...

MAINSTREET, U.S.A --

Cinderella’s Castle - No trip to Disney can be complete without stopping by here and getting your picture taken, as we did and was displayed earlier in this booklet.

TOMORROWLAND --

The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter - Wow! Is an assured reaction. It seems pretty mild from the outside, but you DON’T want the kids in on this one! While it isn’t absolute terror, it does surprise you with what goes on in this room.

Space Mountain - Not much of a Roller Coaster, but is a Roller Coaster! A lot of fun in the dark.

The Timekeeper - This is an interesting look at time with a character whose voice is played by Robin Williams. The concept is "what if H.G.Wells really was right about the Time Machine.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority - provides a pleasant ride, 2 stories up, around Tomorrowland.

Skyway to Fantasyland provided another pleasant view of the Park, the lands, and a good way to rest up the sore legs and/or get out of the sun.

A Lovely view (of both Rhonda and the Park) from the Skyway that connects/transports you from the front of the Park to the rear of the Park. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride and view.

FANTASYLAND --

Cinderella’s Golden Carrousel - while we didn’t ride the Carrousel, we did make a quick trip over to try our strength (yeah, right! Rather our luck) at attempting to pull out the "Sword in the Stone". We also munched down some Disney character shaped Ice Cream. I mention that for no apparent reasons!
Rhonda (as if)     Joe (like, duh)
You are correct, neither of us was able to pull it out of its place in the stone. Dratts!

LIBERTY SQUARE --

The Haunted Mansion - This one’s OK for the kids!

Fake Tombstones outside the Haunted Mansion

FRONTIERLAND --

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - Another mild Roller Coaster

Walt Disney World Railroad - Another way to relax, yet get around. We took it from the back of the Park to get to the entrance/exit to catch our Bus back to the Swan Hotel

You might wonder why we took a picture of this trash can (above), well - so do we!! No, just kidding. This Trash can was a Mobile and Talking Trash can. It dazzled and delighted the kids, including us, as it wondered around talking to people.
This takes putting trash in its place to new levels. I threw out my soft drink cup, and was thanked for it. No good dead goes un-rewarded.

A view of Space Mountain, the Skyway, and part of the track for the Tomorrowland Transit Authority Mono-Rail, (below) as seen from our ride around Tomorrowland on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority.

Splash Mountain - This was going to be our last ride of the day and we actually waited in line for this for more than an hour, and decided to try and make one of Disney’s Water Parks instead. That turned out to be a mistake, as the Water Parks close real early and we were not able to make it to Blizzard Canyon.

The Parks and Pathways surrounding Cinderella’s Castle were lovely, as these pictures will reveal…
